The Amazing Mr Snickles

Well, Mr Snickles totally faked me out. He's recovered from his malaise and is doing well. Today he was chirping away, eating and preening. I'm am so very thankful to still have him with us. His flock mates are happy too that he's back to his old self. He is quite the character. 

I had a good day back at work. It was nice and slow. I got time to complete a project for reaccreditation and also got to help one of our students get lots of scan time. Tomorrow will be crazy busy but I'm working with the best coworker plus it'll be Friday.

Bart and I have been sleeping on the sofa for nearly three weeks since he was diagnosed with dvt and pe. He likes to sleep kind of propped up and nesseled in the corner of the sofa. We have a sectional and have it rearranged just like a bed with sides. I'm worried that he's afraid to sleep in our bed because it's flat and that's when he experienced the most pain from the blood clot in his lung when he was lieing down. It's okay though. When he feels ready, we'll return to our normal sleeping quarters. For now the sofa is very comfy and it's been fun. Makes me feel like a kid again.
